How secure is RailOffice?

RailOffice is a secure web application, having SSL and has inbuilt-features like any other web-applications. However, RailOffice doesn't take any responsibility of the user's data by any means. It is just an exchange point and users have to assure that their data is saved properly from time-to-time. Generally options are available to export the data in excel sheets. RailOffice has recently switched to login through registered Google accounts only which the users can manage themselves. By this, there are no separate user credentials for using RailOffice.

How RailOffice is introduced to a user?

After purchasing the subscription, the user is given a telephonic introductory session explaining all basic provisions & features available in the system. Users are answered their queries and efforts are made to help them as much as possible. Railway users get access to documentation Getting started for their work module.

Is there any need of training to a user?

RailOffice is simple in design and user-friendly. Its working is based on existing procedures in user's railway office. Any user confortable to use an email system doesnt require any training. The telephonic introductory session is almost sufficient for a user to work on RailOffice. However, users are free to ask and submit issues through the given provisions.

How to submit issues/feedback for resolution?

RailOffice is an online feedback mechanism where users can submit their issues/feedback and get reply on this system itself. Apart from this, all users of a division or similar units get membership of a RailOffice's WhatsApp group where users can directly post the issues and get response immediately.

How much time does a module take for implementation?

RailOffice follows standard workflow and procedures. Therefore, all its modules are implemented in very less time. Actual time of implementation depends upon factors like type of module, computer-trained staff in particular unit, etc. For example, modules for controllers are implemented immediately on the same day as railway users get easily acquainted. However, if any backup or long data is required, like in implementation of relief train modules, it may take 3-7 days as one time activity to submit old data but later same can be done instantaneously.
